Horologion = Book of hours fiind sinonime, cf. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horologion
The 'Horologion' (Greek: ῾Ωρολόγιον; Church Slavonic: Часocлoвъ, Chasoslov, Romanian: Ceaslov), or Book of Hours, provides the fixed portions of the Daily Cycle of services (Greek: akolouthies, ἀκολουθίες) as used by the Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Catholic churches.
"The Great Horologion contains the common of the divine office, and various other liturgical texts, for example the paraklesis, the akathist, apolytikia and kontakia for the liturgical year. The latter section also includes notices of saints and feasts commemorated. The Small Horologion does not have all the Apolytikia and Kontakia."
