Discussion

Anne Micallef (asker) May 5, 2008:
context I'm afraid I don't really have much context, that's the problem! I just have a list of codes (codes are mainly in English, which can help, but it's not always correct English) and an explanation in French. The sentences I have to translate are "Veuillez saisir le nom/l'adresse/ le code postal (etc.) de votre filleul" and the code is SPONSORSHIP_NAME_FILLEUL. It can't just be "sponsored" as suggested, I need a noun.
B D Finch May 5, 2008:
It really isn't possible to give a confident answer without some more context.

neutral B D Finch : What about linking the proposed translation to the French original? The Asker hasn't actually given sufficient context for this to be possible.
