Hello!
I'm subtitling a documentary about Audi vehicles and have come unstuck with the term "Nervosität". This is the sentence:
"Die höheren Geschwindigkeiten, das trifft jetzt hier genau die Autobahn natürlich, eh, da möchte ich ja eigentlich ein eher ruhiges Lenkrad haben damit es keine nervosität im Fahrzeug durch unbeabsichtigte..."
Can anybody think of an elegant way of expressing this in English? I'm not sure if it refers to the driver or how the car responds under certain circumstances.

Unfortunately it's a transcription, and the full sentence doesn't, I think, really clarify anything (but maybe it does!):
Die höheren Geschwindigkeiten, das trifft jetzt hier genau die Autobahn natürlich, eh, da möchte ich ja eigentlich ein eher ruhiges Lenkrad haben damit es keine nervosität im Fahrzeug durch unbeabsichtigte, vielleicht einmal ein bisschen am Lenkrad rumdrehen und da kommt jetzt eher der Komfortbereich zum tragen.
Anyway, for the moment, I'll stick with "twitchy response"."
