Extract from an agency agreement: "wird die Gesellschaft der Auftragnehmerin zu Erfüllung ihrer Aufgaben Kontovollmachten erteilen"

Clearly a grant of power of attorney to operate bank accounts but is there a technical term (or a neater way) to express this?

What's wrong with "power of attorney (over the account)"? As far as I know that is the proper term.

FYI when I worked at a German bank for 7 years we always used 'Zeichnungsvollmacht' for signature authority and "Kontovollmacht" for account authorization, which is wider in scopr
