Italian term

adesivo

Italian to English Law/Patents Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright
This phrase is used in several contexts in the legal brief:

2) "Interventore adesivo" and "Interveniente adesivo" are also used.

"Joining" is not the proper term ("joining intervention," "joining intervener," "joining appeal" ???), but I cannot discern the correct phrasing! I doubt it's "cross" either, since that is covered by "incidentale."

"Supporting," perhaps?

Can anyone shed light on this for me? Many thanks!
