German term
Direktionsbereich Technik
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Manufacturing
Tooling
From a document desribing a replacement tool to be provided to customers who have purchased a machine from the company.
----
Information des Direktionsbereichs Technik
Einführung einer neuen External Tool Variante
----
Something like "Information from the engineering management department" I guess, but doesn´t sound right to me. Anybody got a more inspired way of phrasing this?
Thanks in advance,
Stephen

: Should be 'Technology Business Area' (or business unit if it's a separate company (subsidiary)) // Could be; the boundaries of BU are a bit vague.

I'm not sure about UK/US use, but I understand a BU to be an organisational 'profit center', not necessarily a (in the legal sense) subsudiary (but maybe here it is just a bus. area under the responsability of a member of the board of directors)
