Bio
I grew up bilingual (Spanish-English) and trained in anthropological Lingüistics/Spanish during my undergraduate studies in Canada. I have used my translation skills throughout my employment history: bilingüal-executive secretary; medical secretary and finally as a social scientist (PhD Anthropology) involved in community and international development projects in the southern Andean region of South America and in Malawi, Central Africa.
For 10 years, I was volunteer interpreter for Development and Peace and for the Ontario Public Interest Research Group (OPIRG) in Hamilton, Canada.
I have also translated archaeological research papers, and currently translate for the Network of Iberoamerican Anthropologists (AIBR) based in Madrid, Spain.
Keywords: antropología, arqueología; medicina general, oftalmología y psiquiatría; marketing, publicidad
