Bio
I'm a freelance Spanish-to-English translator living in Sagunto (Spain). I have over twenty years' experience teaching English and more than ten years' experience translating. I've got the Diploma in Translation (DipTransIoLET) and I'm a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL).

Most of my translation work has been for Spanish universities - articles for journals, presentations, doctoral theses, etc - and therefore covers a very wide range of subjects and styles.

I've never missed a deadline and I'm extremely thorough.

An idiosyncrasy. Once I've finished a translation, no matter how long it is I always read it aloud because I believe it's the only way to make sure it's acceptable. As far as I'm concerned, if something can't be read aloud without difficulty, then it's not good enough.
