Source text - English There are several benefits to teaching multicultural education. First, multicultural education enhances both skills and content acquisition and promotes lifelong learning. The students learn not only the curriculum, but they also acquire skills that broaden their horizons and see the application of these skills outside the given classroom, for example, in other subject areas or life.
Second, multicultural education can provide authenticity to content. Students make personal connections; relate the studied concepts and topics to their personal experiences and backgrounds. For example, seeing pictures and meeting people from the country studied makes the topic more relevant and interesting, and motivates the students.

Он находится в историческом центре города между улицей Советская, Староволжским мостом и Городским садом. Дворец был построен в 1764—1766 годах в стиле классицизма с элементами барокко по проекту архитектора П.Р. Никитина при участии М.Ф. Казакова. Между Путевым дворцом и Волгой был разбит городской сад, рядом со дворцом были устроены служебный флигель, оранжерея, конюшни и каретный сарай. Дворец предназначался для отдыха царствующих особ и их многочисленной свиты по пути из Петербурга в Москву, откуда и получил своё название. Здесь собиралось высшее общество Твери, сюда приезжали высокие гости из Москвы и Петербурга. С 1898 по 1917 здание служило резиденцией тверского губернатора. Осенью 1941 года дворец был частично разрушен немецкими оккупантами, но впоследствии был восстановлен. В настоящее время в этом здании находится главная музейная сокровищница города – размещаются Тверская областная картинная галерея и Тверской государственный объединенный историко-архитектурный и литературный музей. Translation - English The main attraction of Tver is the Traveling Palace of the Empress Catherine II. It is located in the historic center of the city between the Sovetskaya Street, Starovolzhskiy Bridge (Starovolzhkiy literally means the Old Volga) and the City Garden. The palace was built in the years 1764-1766 in the Classical architectural style with Baroque elements. It was designed by the architect P.R. Nikitin with the participation of M.F. Kazakov. The city park was built between the Traveling Palace and the Volga river. The palace also included a service outbuilding, a greenhouse, stables and a coach house. The palace was intended as a relaxation facility during travel for reigning tsars and their large suite on the way from St. Petersburg to Moscow, which is how it received its name. This was a gathering place for high society of Tver and was often visited by dignitaries from Moscow and St. Petersburg. From 1898 to 1917 the building was the residence of the governor of Tver. In the fall of 1941 the palace was partially destroyed by the German invaders, but was restored at a later date.
Currently this building hosts the city's main treasury, the Tver Regional Picture Gallery, and the Tver State Joint Historical, Architectural and Literary Museum. This is one of the largest and oldest museums in Russia. The gallery was separated from the Joint Museum in 1937. Its collection includes more than 30,000 domestic and foreign works of art, including paintings, graphic works, engravings, sculptures, furniture, decorative and applied arts. Scientific archives of the gallery include documents from the 19th and 20th centuries.
The oldest surviving stone building in Tver is the White Trinity Church. The church was built in 1564; it was sponsored by a Moscow merchant G. A. Tushinskiy and Tver merchant P. D. Lyamin. The temple was built by the outstanding Tver architect G. D. Makov. During its existence, the temple was rebuilt many times, but did not lose its splendor and greatness. A unique iconostasis and murals from the 18th and 19th centuries are located inside the church. According to the surviving legend, an underground passage connected the church with the Tver Kremlin. The residents used this passage to seek shelter from their enemies. The Church is the only church in Tver, which continued worship service even during the Soviet period.

Source text - English Diarrhea is defined as frequent loose or watery bowel movements. It may be accompanied by abdominal cramping and increased gas. Diarrhea or increased bowel movements may be caused by chemotherapy and may begin several days after chemotherapy begins. Changes in your diet may prevent or treat these symptoms.
A number of specific food products are known to irritate the intestines during treatment with chemotherapy and/or radiation. These products include foods with caffeine, alcohol, pepper and spices and those high in fiber, fat and lactose. Avoiding them may prevent or help minimize diarrhea.
IF YOU HAVE DIARRHEA:
BRAT Diet - Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast.
Anti Diarrhea Medication - In addition to a change in dietary habits, you may also need to take an anti-diarrhea medication. We recommend that you take Imodium AD following the instructions on the package.
Fluids – Drink plenty of fluids such as water, and, if you are not diabetic, Gatorade or PowerAde.
If you have diarrhea that continues for more than 24 hours without a response to changes in diet and/or the above suggested medications, you must notify your doctor or nurse.
