Spanish term
Desalojar/Desalojado
Spanish to English
Tech/Engineering
Petroleum Eng/Sci
Pumps/Gas/Processes
I've been seeing this word a lot in a document I'm translating.
First I chose the word "removed" in Spanish to use it as an equivalent. But I'm not completely sure it is correct.
The context is mostly about -líquidos desalojados hacia el cabezal- or -el agua y los hidrocarburos líquidos captados en el separador de succión son desalojados por las bombas de agua a la descarga-
Thank you

desalojamiento = removal/eviction/evacuation. In hydrocarbons context it is removal.
By the way, tThe "cabezal" is the top part. "Cabezal de tuberia" is the "bradenhead" (top part of the tubing used in an oil well).

Evacuated
When it refers to "fluidos desalojados" I would use "flushed out" but in this case I would think that it is better to use the concept of evacuation.
