Spanish term

frase redonda

Spanish to English Other Other
This is from an interview of a fashion designer.
The question to him is:

"Usted ha dicho una frase tan redonda como acertada: «vestirse bien es un acto de gratitud hacia uno mismo y de educación hacia los demás». ¿Podría explicarlo?"

I've found lots of sites with the expression "frase redonda" in them, but I'm not sure exactly what it is: a cliche, slogan, proverb...
Can anyone help clear this up for me?

Discussion

It's a common expression Kimberly, but not too complicated. Redondo is simply used here in the sense of:
5. adj. Claro, sin rodeo, completo.
6. adj. Perfecto, completo, bien logrado.
Good luck! :O)
