Spanish term

Que es interés del propietario de la finca descrita aportarla a la sociedad

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) EScritura
Agradecería sugerencias para "aportarla" , he pensado en "contribute" pero no me convence.

Gracias a todos

It is in the interest of the owner of the property described to contribute it to the corporation

Que es interés del propietario de la finca descrita aportarla a la sociedad = It is in the interest of the owner of the property described to contribute it to the corporation

"Contribute" sí me convence, es la palabra adecuada, insisto.

neutral AllegroTrans : isn't this just a convoluted way of saying the owner wishes to do something?

Yes, and accurately translated with all the convolutions.

The owner of the property described wishes to contribute it to the company.

Contribute is the only word here.

agree AllegroTrans : maybe "transfer/convey/assign"; do we know it's a gift?// yes, correct idea, but the rest of the text probably clarifies it by saying "in exchange/consideration for xxxx" in which case "assign" would be the ideal word
14 hrs
No it is not a gift. When you aportar something to a company it is correctly termed a contribution. It is not a gift, shares are given usually in return. It is the correct and only word here. Thanks.
