Nadja's suggestion might be along the right lines. In an earlier slide it mentions that the participants have a direct "connection" with the brand representative. It seems that 2nd generation chat provides a button on the web page and an agent will respond when you click it (not being familiar with this concept before so I didn't connect the two). A solution could be "...conversations through a 2nd generation chat facility" perhaps?

Hi Phil, its a campaign in which the company has sent out samples of the product to a selection of consumers and invites them to participate actively on the site with their experiences and comments. There are no before and after sentences. This is a ppt slide showing the results of the campaign.

I think we need more context. What kind of online campaign? What kind of business are we talking about? And do the sentences before and after this provide any clues?
