La frase en español es:
Basta que esto te tranquilice para que yo lo haga.
Contexto: Se lo dice un hombre a su pareja, después de que esta le ha pillado en una infidelidad, cuando él le propone deshacerse de su rival con la ayuda de un amigo. Aquí la palabra 'basta' se usa en el sentido de 'es suficiente'.
Mi intento:
It's enough for me (to do it) if this makes you calm down (makes you feel better).
¿Puede suprimirse el 'to do it'? Suena más natural 'calm down' o 'feel better'?
Quiero hacer constar que la mujer estaba algo nerviosa por lo que le acababa de contar su pareja.

Without further context, my suggestions would be along the lines of:
"if it will make you feel better, then I'll do it"
"If it will make you feel better (about it), that's good enough reason for me to do it".
There are so many possibilities that I'm afraid I once again need to mention that this seems to be the type of text best left up to a native-speaker translator.

: I agree, we'd have to have more context to decide, but I think "if it will make you feel better, then I'll do it" sounds the most natural standing on its own.
