Spanish term
aforo del manantial
Spanish to English

Food & Drink
According to the definition I found of the 'aforo':
Aforo: Medición del flujo del manantial expresado generalmente en lt/seg
it should translate as flow capacity or something similar, but in the text it says:
Nº de aforos del manantial: 1
El aforo está situado a 2,5 Km. de la Planta de envasado
y a 954 mts. de altitud
which leads me to believe 'aforo' here has a different meaning....
Any ideas....many thanks

The reference is to gas and oil but could possibly apply to water...???

discharge (of the spring)
Surely, here, this word refers to the flow of water at the point where the water emerges, the latter being the more important idea. From the context, I take this to be a spring of mineral water.
