la duda es para traducir el término "docente".
no tengo claro si en español decir docente marca alguna diferencia con "profesor", creo por el uso, que Docente se usa en el ámbito universitario y, por lo tanto, lo traduciría como "professor"

necesito ayuda por favor

contexto es una tesis sobre metodologia de educacion donde los alumnos aspiran al titulo de profesor de ingles con grado de licenciado en educacion y cada vez que se refieren a su futuro titulo lo hacen con el término DOCENTE...
ej. El docente utiliza este método ....

@asker El uso de 'docente' va más allá del ámbito universitario y 'professor' es un título académico, no es lo mismo.

agree Mara Ballarini : generally that's what it is - docente is a word that defines different types of teachers, they could be uni profs, assistants, high school teachers...I believe in English the term 'teacher' is the commonly used one, for every level of teaching
