citrus/hesperide chord

This modern chypre bouquet has a fresh ***citrus/ hesperide*** top note of lavandin, bergamot and tangerine accented by fruity green and floral nuances.

The ***Hesperide (citrus)*** family consists of essential oils obtained by cold expression of the peel of fruit such as bergamot, lemon, orange, and tangerines, combined with orange flower products. These fresh and uplifting notes are commonly used in colognes and eaux fraîches.

It ends with a distinguishing and brighting ***chord*** that joins melon and peach to the green notes of tagete. The heart is composed of a thin bouquet of lily of the valley, gardenia, pink violet, jasmine and Florence lily. A soft ***chord*** of musk, sandalwood, amber and honey completes the persistence of this unforgettable perfume.

citrus accord

I am a perfumer. A group of "aroma notes" i.e. different chemicals, essential oils or absolutes form an ACCORD in perfumery, not a CORD or CHORD. CORD in English always means a string, usually a tough one, perhaps of leather or animal sinew. CHORD is used in music and is a harmonious group of note played together.
In perfumery, the term ACCORD is used to describe a group of aromas which smell a certain and different way from any of its constituent parts.

Perfumers also use the word HESPERIDE in English
Example sentence:

Sandalwood, oak moss and bergamot form a chypre accord which is quite famous in perfumery
