Spanish term
por acuerdo del titular del poder ejecutivo
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs
I looked in kudoz but I wasn't able to find what I needed. I am translating a Mexican birth certificate, at the end there is a stamp that says:
"POr acuerdo del titular del poder ejecutivo del estado, firma este documento el supervisor juridico de la direccion del registro civil, Sandra bla bla"
The begining sentence is giving me trouble. I'll appreciate the help.

As directed by the duly appointed State's judicial representative, and as the supervisor of the office of vital statistics’ I hereby sign Sandra bla bla….
I think that "por acuerdo" in this case is not "agreement," but rather a dictamen or resolución from the gobernador or his office

this is my suggestion, not what appears in the summary: As directed by the duly appointed State's judicial representative

: Debo señalar que el "poder ejecutivo" no es el "poder judicial".

you are right Henry, I thought I had typed executive (at least that was my intention), but I guess I was in court too long that day. Good catch!
