O.K. But I still think pasture ground or plots is better being that its more generic. If you look up paddock in google, its associated with horses 9 times out of 10. :-)

agree Henrique Serra : well, not exclusively for horses, no. It is usual to refer to paddocks in beef cattle raising as well: see http://www.ansci.cornell.edu/beef/bcc0200.html and many more examples on the web.
