Mario, It's not state case registry either....cartório here simply means the "secretaria da vara" where the case is being judged. My suggestion was generic to simply convey the idea as I said originally. Um abraço.

In that case... State case registry instead of notary. However, the term is important and you omitted it in your suggestion. That's why I posted another one.

cartório in this context It doesn't mean notary office here....it's "cartório judicial"
