Historia
Havng trouble with the following sentence in an 18th century history book. This particular section offers a brief description of the island of Malta:
Malta ma w zdłuż na mil 20. w serz połową długości swoiey mnieysza, na około zaś do 60. mil liczy.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm struggling to make an sense out of the first part of the sentence.

PL wszerz = EN across
PL wzdłuż = EN along

the above matches roughly the length and the width in your text, but the length of the coastline is 140 km (87 mi), not 60 miles
= is 10 miles wide
