Actually I agree with you just in this term and not your whole translation of the given sentence. Your translation in some parts conveys the meaning but I believe it is not accurate enough.
You said: "The company has successfully designed around one and a half million square meters of commercial buildings." and it is not what the asker's asked it is the translation of a sentence like this:" شرکت با موفقیت حدود یک و نیم میلیون متر مربع ساختمان تجاری را طراحی کرده است."
so where is "به نحو شایسته"??
and which part in Persian term can be translated as "successfully"??

Yes commercial building is more widely used and in this case I agree with Ms. Namvar.
