After a few searches I found that "hengetimer" (which gets very few hits) was also referred to as "plusstimer" or "plussdager". So I tried a few searches and found the term "plus days" in the translation of the agreement between NHO/OLF and LO (overenskomst): "Plussdager-
Arbeidede dager i friperiode som ikke kompenseres med overtid.". Not sure how official this translation is but it's worth checking out.

In case it helps, here's an explanation from the end client:
It has to do with their way of working. The work two weeks on and four off. By working this way they do not work as many hours as required. Let's say that a worker has to work 1500 hrs per year. By working 2+4 these people do not always reach 1500 hrs. Say for example that they only work 1450 hrs. Those 50 hrs up to 1500 are hengetimene/hengedagene. They have to work these days in. So in the four weeks that they are off they have to work in these 50 hrs (50 hrs hengetimer) or (or a bit more than 6 hengedays).
