uno nata spazio muto

Non-PRO Italian to English Art/Literary Other Installation exhibition
Hi,
I'm not sure about 'nata' here. It does not seem to agree (feminine ending) and I'm not sure of the sense of it here - 'born' doesn't make sense in the context. It is describing an installation exhibition at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Si tratta di un percorso espositivo multimediale allestito a Casa Italia, la base della squadra Olimpica Italiana a Tokyo, in cui, circondati da uno nata spazio muto – muto come gli spalti delle arene sportive di questi insoliti giochi olimpici nell’era della post-pandemia – sono ritratti 6 giovani atleti durante il loro percorso di preparazione alle Olimpiadi sia in palestra sia sul campo di gara.

Could I just use 'surrounded by a silent space' without the 'nata'?

Thank you to all. Yes I think the 'nata' was probably a mistake. Like you, Phil, I wondered why it came between 'uno' and 'spazio'. I will ignore it and stick to 'surrounded by a silent space' as I first thought.

The fact that it says "uno" rather than "un" makes me think that the next word must be "spazio", and that "nata" is just an aberration.

Newly Created Space I'm wondering, if the term in question actually should be "nato", which can refer to things that are "new", if you could say "newly created (like a newborn) space", one specifically created for the exhibit, i.e., for the temporary event of the Olympics?

'When in doubt, leave out' is not always a good idea, especially when the part of speech of 'nata' needs to be more closely identified. Cut to the ablative absolute in Latin.
