tendine trafila

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Metallurgy / Casting
ALLINEATORE TRAFILA indietro/avanti: allinea il tubo trafilato.
*TENDINE TRAFILA* indietro/avanti: apre e chiude le tendine della trafila.
TRAFILA indietro/avanti: muove il pistone della trafila.

Could this be referring to some kind of *tendine* on the machine?

To: Asker I think "trafila" is a draw plate (see https://www.google.ca/search?q="draw plate"&spell=1&sa=X&ved... ), a perforated plate through which a malleable material is extruded. I am guessing that the "tendine" are some sort of gates or shutters or cutters that close the perforation in the plate to stop the flow of the material. As I said, I am guessing.
