Italian term
Parere sospeso / Parere Favorevole con riserva di:
Italian to English

I just want a second opinion on this as the document that I'm checking has verified that:
'Parere Sospeso' is 'Conditional Opinion'
and
'Parere Favorevole con riserva di:' is 'Favorable Opinion subject to:'
In my opinion ''Parere Favorevole con riserva di:' would be 'Conditional Opinion'
and
'Parere Sospeso' would be 'Suspended opinion'
Am I correct in thinking this?

Italian term (edited):
Parere sospeso
Selected
Deferred Opinion
Hello Arabella. This is my input (without context, beside knowing that is a medical text.. can be a little difficult but hopefully this can help).
SOSPESO= "TEMPORANEAMENTE REVOCATO .. RINVIATO. O CHE SI TROVA IN STATO DI INCERTEZZA.. DI ATTESA" (Nuovo Devoto-Oli)
I would look for an English term that renders this idea so DEFERRED. (Or postponed or uncertain.) Naomi H.

As far as the other expression, "Parere Favorevole con riserva di", I do like the word conditional because it means: "depending on other factors; not certain" (please see link below). It reflects the original meaning of the italian expression "con riserva di". But I would not omit the word FAVOREVOLE in your rendering. So, you could add the word "positive" or "favorable" to your translation. Thank you. Naomi H.
