Italian term
fdu
Italian to English
Medical
Medical (general)
medication orders
This is in the progress notes of a patient hospitalized for chest pain and dyspnea, scheduled for a coronary angiography:
"Oggi in programma coronarografia. Per elevati valori di PA si somministra perindopril 10 mg 1 cp come *fdu.*
I've never seen this acronym, don't even know whether it stands for something in Italian or English (I don't find it when I look in some English acronym sites).
What does fdu stand for, and how do we say it in English?

Note from asker:
Ciao Bruna. It was my educated guess, also, but I couldn't find the two together (the fdu acronym + the phrase 'farmaco di urgenza') and that'why I posted the question. Grazie. |
