Does anyone else think this could be a typo and be an eel, or does anyone know if it actually exists?

link to chart the following is a link to a chart which has fish names in several languages. aiguilllette (if it is a typo) is the latin "Belone belone" and in wikipedia this translates to "aguglia". hope this helps.

it's a french word for a kind of fish used for fishing.
I believe Italians have used the same name
