Greek term

επί δήλου

Your question should have been for ‘επί δήλου πράγματος’, so I am providing an answer for ‘επί δήλου πράγματος’.

Τhe Stamelos-Hatzimanoli Dictionary of Legal Terms gives the meaning of ‘δήλο’ to be ‘expressed’, or ‘express’ or ‘explicit’, and gives the meaning of ‘δήλο πράγμα’ to be ‘expressed thing (or object)’.

So, in your case, a literal translation would be, ‘It arises from this provision that the appointment of a beneficiary on (or ‘for’) an expressed thing (or ‘object’), that is, on a on a specially defined detail of the inheritance, is strong (or ‘is valid’).

However, I think that the intended meaning here is, “It arises from this provision that the appointment of a beneficiary for an expressed reason (or ‘cause’ or ‘justification’), that is, on a specially defined detail of the inheritance, is strong (or ‘is valid’).”

Sorry. the third paragraph above should read, "So, in your case, a literal translation would be, ‘It arises from this provision that the appointment of a beneficiary on (or ‘for’) an expressed thing (or ‘object’), that is, on (or 'for') a specially defined detail of the inheritance, is strong (or ‘is valid’).' "

And the fourth paragraph above should read, "However, I think that the intended meaning here is, “It arises from this provision that the appointment of a beneficiary for an expressed reason (or ‘cause’ or ‘justification’), that is, on (or 'for') a specially defined detail of the inheritance, is strong (or ‘is valid’).”
