De technologie analogique et de gamme institutionnelle (non broadcast), elles ont dépassé très largement leur durée de vie (généralement estimée par les constructeurs à 7 ans en gamme broadcast et 5 ans en gamme institutionnelle). Elles sont trois fois plus âgées qu'elles ne devraient.

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

I am only guessing. From the example I found, it's something in between what is intended for the general public and professional equipment.

avec un gouffre financier entre les deux qui est énorme. la gamme institutionnelle ayant été évincée.
Du coup beaucoup de petite production se tournait pour le live vers la gamme haut de gamme grand public et boudait le pros trop onéreux
cette situation n'existait pas au temps de l'analogique. Je prends comme exemple le HI8 entrée de gamme (les sony 450 et autre), la gamme institutionnelle (les sony 5000) et ensuite les pros avec leur béta, umax (ou umatic je ne sais plus) et je ne sais quoi
