The term appears in several places on a cadastral map, near the boundary lines. The maps are appended to a deed of sale of a piece of real estate sold in Belgium.

Sommets are shown on page 18 of this powerpoint http://eforown.ctfc.cat/pdf/58 CONNAITRE les limites de mes ... and on page 2 of this article https://geodesie.ign.fr/fiches/pdf/0237001.pdf . A 'sommet à borner' is a vertex on the boundary of the plot. The boundary runs in straight lines between each 'sommet' and this method is used as a way of accurately marking out the extent of the plot of land.

Wasn't sure without knowing more about the property whether you should use peak, summit. or hill.
