French term

plateau

French to English Medical Medical (general) lab results
Hello all,

This term appears twice at the bottom of a list of hematology and chemistry results.

1) NON CONF plateau grp

2) Non Conf Plateau Tec

I did come across "plateau technique" in a Kudoz term search.
http://www.proz.com/kudoz/french_to_english/medical_health_c...

If "plateau" has a similar meaning here, I'm wondering if it just refers to a section of the facility where the testing was done.

"NON CONF plateau grp" is a title or heading.
And "Non Conf Plateau Tec" is underneath the heading.

I'm wondering if if could mean something like there was a non-conformity according to the facility itself (groupe? groupement?), and a non-conformity according to the clinical laboratory specifically?

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

More thoughts... Grp is the abbreviation for "groupe," but also "unit."" Maybe it simply means 1) Unit non-conformity and 2) Technical non-conformity. (The non-conformity is a delay in specimen transport.) Again, the "NON CONFORM plateau grp" is a heading, with "Non Conform Plateau Tec" underneath it.

Thanks Liz - I should have put "plateau grp" for the term. I feel like I know that "plateau tec" is plateau technique. Maybe I should repost.. Plus after reading the entry you provided, I'm still not even sure how to handle "plateau tec." I'm guessing they're referring specifically to the lab, but I'm not feeling very confident.
