I think your first instance requires 'to' in EN: at a height of 30 cm to the C/L.
In the second instance, I think 'on' would probably work better: 'on the C/L of the door'. Presumably at some point you get t find what sort of door it is ans what it is on; I would imagine this is perhaps mounted on the cabinet door housing the other equipment.

Regarding the change of field: yes, of course I agree, up to a point; but I just felt it was a term likely to be encountered in this sort of field specifically; one might equally well have put 'Engineering: general', since axe > C/L is a fairly general enineering concept.

It is slightly curious that the height to the C/L should be specified ONLY for the services power socket outlet; but possibly this is a standard height throughout the site, and it is not unusual to specify C/L height, especially with sockets like European types that have a basically circular footprint, but may not have standard size faceplates (unlike the case in the UK).
In the second instance, it is very imprecise to simply state 'on the C/L of the door' — we don't know what door it is, nor do we know whether it is the horizontal or vertical C/L. However, the C/L on the height of the door would correspond roughly to typical positions for switches etc., though I'm rather doubtful about this 'action indicator'; then again, on the vertical C/L, i.e. centred above the door, would be logical enough for certain kinds of indicator.

: In the 1st case the centre-line through the prise de courrant (PC) is 30cm above the reference altitude (eg: finished floor level). In the 2nd, it's simply 'aligned' (similarly vague in both languages) with an H and/or V centre-line through the door.

You seem to be misunderstanding me: it is clear that the (horizontal) C/L of the socket is being mounted at a certain height off the floor; as for the door, we have no way of knowing; I'd have thought an indicator is more likely on handle/opening side.

: Your first ref. doesn't correspond: the word for 'axe' is whatever is truncated by the ...; but in any case, though this might work in the second instance, it really doesn't in the first.

But in any case, your point 1) is something of a red herring — the luminaire is nothing to do with the actual question term, which is not directly connected to the 'en saillie' aspect.
2) Indicateur d'action IA 2000 pose en saillie ... **à l'axe** de la porte
The luminaire is for ceiling-mounting, the indicateur is wall-mounted near the door.
Any further context would be appreciated (description of door, overall design, ...)
