lightweight construction

Usually implies some relatively temporary construction, at least, not in 'dur' (= bricks-and-mortar)

Do note that, in EN, when referring to a building in general, rather than some specific building, the word 'construction' is quite often used as a generic term (besides its normal meaning of 'the act / manner of constructing etc.')
Peer comment(s):

agree Marie-Helene Dubois : Yes. Or 'lightweight building'.

Merci, M-H !
agree Miranda Joubioux (X) : Yes, my choice too. I can't actually see the difficulty in this one.

Thanks, Phil!
agree B D Finch : Though I don't agree with your comment about temporary. Some is and some isn't. See my comment to gallagy.

Thanks, B! :-) / I did say 'relatively', I didn't mean something as ephemeral as a Portakabin ;-)

pre-fab/modular building

most people use Pre-fab (alone without the need for using "building") for temporary use that is not in bricks and mortar

otherwise "temporary building"

"Pre-fab" short for prefabricated (modular) but no one uses full
word anymore

"portacabin" or "portable building" also used

Peer comment(s):

neutral Tony M : Reasonable deduction, BUT amounts to overtranslation here, as there is nothing in the source text that specifically states that — and terms do exist in FR for 'Portakabins' and the like
1 hr
well it would be good, as usual, to have a bit more context to see what is best
neutral B D Finch : "Prefab" for informal register only. Modular isn't the only form of prefabricated construction. I've managed non-modular, prefabricated construction projects: permanent housing with the same service life as conventional buildings.

or temporary building.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Tony M : It actually looks as if it's just an office? / Could be, but there IS a word for that in FR :-(

Probably - depends on the goods.
agree Di Penney : or temporary stores (GB) depending on scale of operation

neutral philgoddard : It's not a warehouse, it's a goods inwards office.
