French to English Tech/Engineering Computers: Software

Hi everyone,
This term is in a sort of user guide for S3D software, however I have no real description to know what it is. I found "soft spot" in Termium however it seems to have more to do with the display on the screen, whereas this seems to refer to actual 3D sketching.
I wil try to attach the pictures for extra help.

Sketcher 2D:
