television broadcasting
The context is someone who choreographs sequences for "habillage de chaînes" (de télévision). These are the little commercials or "fillers" that are shown during the station breaks, when the network's number or logo comes on the screen (examples: the dancing, music, kids rollerskating, breakdancing, snowflakes and elves, etc. that the BBC broadcasts around "BBC1" and "BBC2"). What are they called in English? Imagina has a category for television awards: génériques & habillages (= credits and what???) TIA!

: Yes, 'ident...' — though these days, they've really been raised to new heights, and I'd be surprised if a new term hasn't been coined?

Comment: "With a more than honourable mention for Martin Cassell; shall explore "visual branding"."

station identifiers
"This paper explores the ways in which ITV has increasingly sought both to establish a consolidated national ITV identity and to maintain some semblance of regional identity for its constituent parts. It has done this in part through station identifiers, with regional identifiers gradually being reduced, giving way to a single overarching identifier for ITV1 as the company has consolidated."
Discussion
For a stage show, the set gets "dressed", but I can't find evidence that that lingo carries over into visual design for TV.
