English term

content farm

GBK English to Slovak Tech/Engineering IT (Information Technology)
Definition from Oxford:
A website that contains very large quantities of content, typically of low quality or aggregated from other sites, generated solely to ensure that it appears high on the list of results returned by a search engine.
Example sentences:
Over the past two years, we've learned that there isn't any actual monetizable 'cultural value' in building a content farm with an authoritative voice or domination of a niche area. (Vice)
Most websites that buy articles from content farms are information-oriented, meaning their readers want quick, accurate info rather than a thoughtful reading experience. (MediaBistro)
In recent years, sites known as content farms have been taking advantage of the Google algorithm by copying content from reputable sites or publishing only words and phrases people might search for. The result is often a garbled mess of robot-speak that appears at the top of search returns. (Slate (video))

obsahová farma

Definition from own experience or research:
Example sentences:
(Contentfruiter.sk)
