Description of symptoms
1 Female ears did not suffer damage.
2 Filaments suffered less than 50% damage.
3 Most filaments suffered no less than 50% damage, and there were survival larvae with an instar of no more than 2-age
4 Ear point of no more than 1 cm suffered damage; there were survival larvae with an instar of no more than 3-age.
5 Ear point of no more than 2 cm suffered damage; there might be survival larvae with an instar of no more than 4-age; and the length of tunnel was no more than 2 cm.
6 Ear point of no more than 3 cm suffered damage; there might be survival larvae with an instar of more than 4-age; and the length of tunnel was no more than 4 cm.
7 Ear point of no more than 4 cm suffered damage; and the length of tunnel was no more than 6 cm.
8 Ear point of no more than 5 cm suffered damage; and the length of tunnel was no more than 8 cm.
9 Ear point of more than 5 cm suffered damage; and the length of tunnel was more than 8 cm.
