He coined the poker terms "felted" to mean having lost all of one's chips (i.e. nothing left in front of the player except the table felt)
Obs.: felted não tem relação com o verbo feel (cujo passado e particípio passado é felt, e não felted).
Conforme mencionado no link acima, felt tem relação com o tecido das mesas de pôquer, o feltro, felt em inglês: "limparam" a mesa do jogador e agora ele só vê o feltro da mesa, porque ele perdeu todas as fichas.
