Le franchisé est un individu ou société juridiquement indépendante qui bénéficie par un contrat de franchise passé avec un franchiseur de droits d’utilisation de son enseigne, de ses marques et de ses procédés commerciaux en échange du versement de royalties et éventuellement d’un droit d’entrée.

En France, la quasi-totalité des fast foods appartiennent à des franchisés.

Le franchisé est indépendant juridiquement et peut éventuellement détenir plusieurs points de vente au sein d’une même franchise.

if the franchisee is not a natural person but a legal person [as would be the case if it's "une société"], then the franchisee would be owned by another person/persons.

BTW if we are to assume that there is typo here (i.e. that "Franchisee Owner" should be "Franchise Owner"), then what about these questions:

which again is about the owner/owners of the Franchisee NOT about the owner of the Franchise

operational control of the business

again, the control of Franchisee's business is directly linked to Franchisee's current ownership structure i.e. who is the owner of the Franchisee NOT who is the owner of the Franchise!

that would make for A LOT of repeated typos!
