English term

instrument

English to French Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) General Services, MOC Construction, Infill Construction
Bonjour,

S'agissant d'une liste de professions figurant dans un tableau eu égard au "MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT" dans le cadre de "General Services, MOC Construction, Infill Construction" :

"HVAC TECHNICIAN TEAM LEADER
HVAC TECHNICIAN
***INSTRUMENT*** FOREMAN
***INSTRUMENT*** TECHNICIAN
F&G TECHNICIAN
CRANE OPERATOR TEAM LEADER"

Serait-il question de contremaître et technicien « machine-outil » ?

Merci beaucoup !

Discussion

Alexandre Tissot (asker) Jun 17, 2015:
Thank you, Johannes.

For the time being, I can read in the agreement that there are "INFILL DRILLING CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES", "the provision of all general maintenance and services for Client’s operations in Chad". I will look for more information in the document.

Not reallly Change management is one important item. Wikipedia defines it by "Change management is an approach to transitioning individuals, teams, and organizations to a desired future state.[1] In a project management context, change management may refer to a project management process wherein changes to the scope of a project are formally introduced and approved."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Change_management

But the key term is "instrument", which can be translated differently according to the subject and industrial domain, where the instrument is applied. From your previous questions I deduct that it may refer to civil engineering, but I am not sure. Especially the first line "HVAC TECHNICIAN TEAM LEADER" directs to other domains. HVAC can be either “High-Voltage Alternating Current” or “Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning”.

What is the task to be done by the concerned workers? What construction is “infilled”?
Alexandre Tissot (asker) Jun 17, 2015:
Good morning Johannes and thank you for your question.

It deals with the exhibit of a contract drafted to provide General Services, MOC (Management Of Change) Construction, Infill Construction.

The exhibits set out all the workers that will be needed to perform those services by department.

Does it help?
Johannes Gleim Jun 16, 2015:
I have problems with the terms : MOC, infill and "instrument" in this context. Do you can explain?

Appareillage/outillage

Par exemple: Contremaître responsable de l'appareillage
technicien responsable de l'outillage
En fait c'est un terme très utilisé dans le secteur pétrolier et gazier.
