Not sure what 'marginal' refers to here, thank you.
The ***marginal*** water rate curves are computed at each ED calculation based on the initial unit marginal water rate curves and net heads.
Calculates for each hydro plant a water value and a ***marginal*** water rate curve based on the units net head value and the available water resources.

"Available Hydro Power
The power that can be extracted from a waterfall depends upon its height and rate of flow.
The available hydro power can be calculated by the following equation:
P=9.8qh
P=available water power[kW]
q=water rate of flow [m3/s]
h= head of water [m]"

"Calculates for each hydro plant a water value and a marginal water rate curve based on the units net head value and the available water resources."
"water rate" + "net head value" => water rate [of flow] , aka water flow rate

It should be highlighted that the influence of temperature and rainfall on the flow of water rate for the same month and the previous ones. In fact reason for this temperature and rainfall from the previous period might influence the flow of water rate in the next period and it would be high because of climatic condition influence during a previous period [32]."

"The power capacity of the power plant is lead out through the blocked
transformations to the 400 kV switching room of Liptovska Mara. Its
own usage is secured by the flow assembly and the 22 kV line. The
flows above 8 m3.s-1 are let into the riverbed out as idled to secure
water economy of the river. It is not possible to use the water rate for
recreational purposes because it is not safe, as the pumping comes to
an unexpected swinging of the water surface."

: Obviously the 'rate' here is a 'flow rate'; my only doubt is whether it is the curve that is marginal or the rate...?
