The UHT level control should always be in automatic mode, it is used to maintain a minimum level in the flash tank to avoid bubbles from the product pump.

If you want to heat up water do not use a temperature set point over 95°c and do not use the vacuum system otherwise you will not be able to pump the hot water out of the flash tank.
