Dutch term

Schoolboard

Dutch to English Marketing Advertising / Public Relations Teaching?
Hello:

I am translating this text on media. I found this word "schoolboard" as a marketing tool, though I saw in Google that is more a teaching tool with no relation to marketing whatsoever.

I am confused.
Here the sentence:
"Een schoolboard is een reclameposter binnen de schoolomgeving die commercieel wordt uitgebaat."
Thanks a lot

Bulletin board

I think they mean a bulletin board. Not to be confused with 'schoolbord', which means blackboard, and is indeed a teaching tool.

agree writeaway : imhno, a bulletin board is a generic term for any board used for posting information, whether ads or just ordinary announcements. but it can't hurt to use it in the context.

Thank you. My thoughts exactly, you almost can't go wrong with that.
agree LAB2004 : ---or notice board (which I think feels more UK English than US English)
