Catalan term
Explicar al cotxe
Catalan to English

General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
I am translating a text for a wine guide. That is to say, the guide will be reading/memorising the text I am translating and using it to give aguided tour of a winery in English.
This is a section header - "Explicar al cotxe:" I don't know if this is an expression or what, but what follows is a description of the company, the region (Priorat), the soil, the climate, the history, etc.
There is no car/coach/carriage/cart involved so far as I can tell.

Explain in (the) car
I don't think any other interpretation is possible. If it's not clear what car is being referred to, I think you'd certainly be justified in consulting the client.

"Explain in the car"
I know you said there was no car involved, but I imagine this simply refers to the fact that the corresponding text should be read out by the guide whilst the visitors are in the car (or coach, minibus, or whatever).
I've never heard it used as an expression though.
Maybe you could check with your client re. the car.

: Yes, it sounds like something that should be explained before everyone gets out of the bus...
