Catalan term

La recerca (see context)

Catalan to English Science Education / Pedagogy Research
See the following page: http://www.uab.es/servlet/Satellite?cid=1090494921860&pagena...

The name of the global section is "Investigar", which I decided to translate with the noun "research". The problem is that there is a sub-section called "la recerca", and I'd like to avoid using the same name. I thought about using "research structure" or "structure of UAB research", which is what the opening paragraph is about, but further down it gives statistics, which I don't think falls into "structure". The other thing I've thought of is "About (UAB) research". Can you think of anything better to resume what's in the sub-section.

Sorry guys Nothing was really what I was looking for. I've decided to go with "Research Institutions", as that seems to be what the section is mainly about.

I can't come up with anything but "research". Personally I wouldn't translate "Investigar a la UAB" by "research", as "investigar" seems more active. I would use "doing research" or "being a researcher"

research

To be honest I don't think you can avoid using the term "research". I looked at my old university website (see link) to see how they got around it, but "research" appears almost every third word!! How about "Research at the UAB".
Good luck.

Research procedures / research methods

Hi Timothy,

A bit hard to say without viewing the text itself, but see if either of these would work.

Bona sort!
