growing up imagining freedom

I think that you could leave it like this "crecer imaginando libertad (growing up imagining freedom)". Regards =:)
Peer comment(s):

neutral Jane Lamb-Ruiz (X) : I think it means the opposite: not imagining freedom but imagining freely

Creo que en ese caso sería crecer imaginando en libertad, o crecer imaginando libremente. Gracias Jane =:)

grow up imagining freely

Sugerencia.
"Imaginando en libertad" is different from "imaginando libertad"...
Imaginando libertad would be imagining freedom.

agree Jane Lamb-Ruiz (X) : this is meaning

Imagine Growing in Freedom

Actually, I think the others are also correct, it is only a matter of preference.

Growing Up with Freedom of Imagination

that is clearly the kind of meaning one could put here, grammatically and stylistically in English..I think Freedom of Imagination is what they mean

just to get that imaginar en libertad....which refers to the condition of imagination and not freedom

It\'s funny how people keep thinking this is about freedom rather than freedom of imagination...

You should take into account that the translation to English depends on the true sense of the Spanish.
In the case of your sentence, it depends on the punctuation:

1. To grow imagining in freedom.
Translation: Grow imagining in freedom

2. To grow, imagining in freedom
Translation: Growing up, imagining freely

Sorry, it must be:
1. Crecer imaginando en libertad = Grow imagining in freedom
2. Crecer, imaginando en libertad = Growing up, imagining freely

The punctuation is what really matters.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Jane Lamb-Ruiz (X) : I'm sorry but I believe this is a contrasentido

growing into ideal freedom

Another option.
