Italian term

specifica (see text)

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Cosmetics, Beauty Cosmetics
Una linea cosmetica ***specifica*** da utilizzare in assoluta sicurezza...

This use of 'specifica' is troubling me. The best I can come up with is something like "A line of cosmetics which can be used in total safety".

What is \"specific\" about the line of cosmetics is that it can be used in total safety. In other words, \"specifically\" (specially) developed to be used in total safety.

specific

in this case "specifica" means "perfect for this purpose", I think you can translate "a specific line of cosmetics to be used in total safety"...

ok
agree Claire Titchmarsh (X) : it may not mean "perfect for this purpose" but specific is a much snappier translation here. "specific range of cosmetics" would be my suggestion.
