This is a type of bean - looks white like canneloni from the illustration but can't find term anywhere.

It looks like it might be "white bean." This bean is sometimes used to make the paste inside Anpan, the white variety of paste rather than the usual red-bean paste, and after a few leads in Japanese the search below got plenty of hits on Google. Hope this helps at least ^-^
