My sister is leaving for Italy for two weeks. She has a severe allergy to nuts. I want to be able to give her this phrase to learn so she can ask it at restaurants. She will be in Rome

Sono allergica alle arachidi
If she is allergic only to peanuts, she should say:
"Sono allergica alle arachidi"
If she is also allergic to hazelnuts, etc., she should say:
"Sono allergica alle arachidi, alle nocciole eccetera."
I think she should also add:
"Sono allergica anche a tutti i derivati" (I am allergic to all what contains peanuts).
Since such allergies can be very dangerous, I suggest she prints this out and shows it wherever she goes to eat.

As Massimo suggests, add the following:
\"Sono allergica anche all\'olio di arachidi\" (\"I am also allergic to peanut oil\"). Such oil is widely used in Italy.
"Sono allergica alle arachidi"
